The Adult Basic Education component at Blackfeet Community College provides students with the opportunity to upgrade their educational/vocational potential.  Adult Basic Education offers developmental classes designed to improve skills in English, mathematics, reading, and vocational & personal development.

For those students who do not have a high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) Certificate, the Adult Basic Education Department offers instruction designed to provide students with the necessary skills to pass the GED test located on campus.

The program services the entire Blackfeet Nation.  Students in this program are pre-tested and then receive instruction in the areas of need. The students will do work in class and receive work to take home. Periodically, they bring in their assignments and receive any additional aid they may need.

GED Tests are given on a regular schedule.  Students must be eighteen years of age and out of high school for six months in order to be eligible to take the GED test. Contact Marshalene LastStar or Fern Marceau in the GED Center for more information.
